The Georgia Masonry Institute and the Masonry Association of Georgia, Inc. are pleased to host Masonry Special Inspection and Contractor Certification Workshops throughout the year.

Life safety is thus insured in times of storms, earthquakes, and other catastrophic occurrences.
Attendees will cover the following topics: Code requirements for Special Inspection; Concrete masonry shapes, sizes, standards, tests; Clay masonry shapes, sizes, standards, tests; Mortar and grouting standards and tests; Reinforcing steel, anchors, and tie basics; Key inspection points during construction; Crack control best practices using control joints.
